How to Remove Pimples
Are you suffering from acne? If so, you are not alone. Pimples are one of the most common skin conditions experienced by people all over the world, from children all the way up to the elderly. Here are some great tips on how to remove pimples.
Tip #1: Wash Your Hands
Before you go to remove those pimples, you need to make sure your hands are clean. This way, you avoid spreading bacteria, as well as putting more bacteria on your face that shouldn’t be there. So always make sure to wash your hands before you go to pop your pimples.
Tip #2: Only Remove Pimples With Whiteheads
The second tip on how to remove pimples is to only try and remove the ones in which you can actually see the whitehead, as in the puss, at the top of the pimple. The pimples that are just red and may hurt a little are not fully developed and 99 out of 100 times they will not pop. If you go to pop them they will just ooze fluid, get bigger, and can cause scarring. So because of this, make sure the pimple has a clear whitehead before you even think of popping it.

Tip #3: Use an Extractor Tool
The best way to remove a pimple is to use a “pimple extractor tool”. All the major stores have them such as Walmart, Target, etc. It’s pretty much a metal tool with one side that extracts pimples, and the other side extracts blackheads. It’s a very handy little tool that you will use often. Read the instructions before you use it, but you pretty much are just pushing down on the skin near the pimple, and then pulling the tool back which forces the puss out evenly.
If for some reason you can’t get one of these extractor tools, you can use your hands, it’s just not the first option. Use your two index fingers and make sure to push in at the base of the pimple so you can get all the puss out; not just the puss at the top of the pimple. And I suggest the two index fingers here because out of all the ways to remove a pimple which include using your bent fingers, using your knuckles, using your toes, etc., it just gives you the best strength and leverage to really get rid of that pimple!
Tip #4: Make Sure Pimple Is Fully “Popped”
When you pop a pimple, a little bit of puss can come out and you can say “oh I’m done”… but this may not be the case. Many times it takes a few squeezes before all the puss is out of the pimple. And if you squeeze a pimple and just remove a little puss, it most likely will just be back the next day and bigger than before! So when you do pop a pimple, a good rule of thumb to know you’re done is if you stop seeing puss and it starts bleeding. If blood comes out, you know you’ve reached the end of the pimple and it has been fully popped.
Trying out these tips is a good start, but there’s a few more things you need to learn in order to get rid of your acne once and for all!
